REBECCA BARRETT, LMSW
Making the choice to begin your therapeutic journey can be a difficult one. I consider it a privilege to share in that journey with you. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, I am committed to creating a supportive environment where you can explore grow and thrive.
I specialize in working with children and young adults (ages 3 to 21) experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, chronic illness or pain, life transitions, self-harm, and disruptive behavior. I help people to navigate the unique challenges that they might be facing, with the goal to provide a safe space for young minds to express themselves, develop coping skills, and build resilience.
By utilizing creative and expressive techniques, including play therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Schema therapy, and experiential dynamic psychotherapies, I am able to work collaboratively to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual client and enhance their overall emotional and behavioral well-being.
I am dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young adults with a focus on improving or repairing communication and relationships between parents and children. I invite you to reach out. Together, we can embark on a path of healing and growth.
